Kim is the lead for user engagement with state, federal, and tribal agencies. She has more than 25 years of experience in program and policy development and project management, with a focus on natural resource planning, sustainable communities, environmental health, and local economic development. Prior to joining SIG, Kim held management positions with the State of California–CalFire, Sierra Nevada Conservancy, and California Tahoe Conservancy, served as California Director for the National Forest Foundation, and worked with private consulting firms and nonprofit organizations. Kim holds a master’s in Natural Resource Planning from the University of British Columbia and a bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Iowa.
