Research Assistant, Rausser College of Natural Resources, UC Berkeley

Alexis is contributing to field-based measurement of wildland fuels for the Fuel Mapping & Fire Physics Team. Her research efforts focus on the impacts of restoration treatments on forest resiliency. Her mission is to develop research products that can be utilized by land managers to meet the daunting challenges that changing climate and disturbance regimes and climate will have on forested ecosystems. She holds a master’s in Natural Resources from Humboldt State University and a bachelor’s in Forestry & Natural Resources from UC Berkeley.
