Software Engineer, Spatial Informatics Group

Oliver is a Software Developer contributing to Pyrecast for the Wildfire Forecasting Team.
He is passionate about taking creative, data-driven approaches to problem solving and is especially interested in evolutionary computation, machine learning, and natural language processing. He has experience in both research and software development settings. Oliver earned a bachelor’s in Computer Science and Statistics from Amherst College in 2021. He was named a Ginsburg Fellow and a McGeoch Fellow by Amherst’s Department of Computer Science and was inducted into the National Honorary Society for Statistics by the Department of Statistics.
