Qingqing is contributing to long-term wildfire risk modeling for the Climate Change & Fire Projections Team. Her research involves working on statistical modeling of wildfire activity, developing methodologies to generate burn severity products, assessing emissions from wildland fires, and analyzing and forecasting the impact of wildfire on public health. She is a doctoral candidate in Environmental Systems at UC Merced. She holds an MBA from Freiberg University of Mining and Technology (Germany) and a master’s of Management from China University of Geosciences in Beijing.
